About Cheryl

I am a Newborn Care Specialist/Doula and nanny with over 30 years of experience. The families I’ve worked with have each had different situations and needs, but I’ve brought to all of them the same commitment, professionalism, and love.
I’ve cared for newborns and older children, singletons and multiples babies born prematurely and at full term period I’ve also been the nanny/newborn care specialist to children with disabilities and special needs and have experience working with doctors, therapists and other medical professionals to help implement plans for their care.
I’m comfortable with and experienced at working with high level individuals my families have included prominent lawyers and doctors, Fortune 500 executives, officials at the Pentagon and other government agencies as well as an NBA general manager and a reporter for the Wall Street Journal.
I consider being a newborn specialist doula and nanny not just a job but a career and I pride myself on my professionalism. I’m extremely well organized, able to plan out and juggle the many tasks required to keep a house running smoothly even when under pressure or in the face of challenging of changing plans. I follow directions well but I’m also able to problem solve independently when the need arises, and I work hard to establish and maintain good lines of communication with parents, keeping them informed and building a positive, healthy working relationship.
